Guide
Sample: how a hands-on guide reads on Veliri
A sample page for the editor, never for publication, showing where the hands-on block, the body, the sources and the bags appear on a guide.

Hands-on
Valentina Petkova handled the following on November 7, 2026 at (sample) the editor's desk, London.
- (sample) the bag the editor handled, with its size, leather and hardware

This page is a sample for the editor. It is built only on the staging site and is deleted when the first real guide is published. Every block on it comes from the front matter of one markdown file under data/articles/, and the pipeline’s validator refuses the file unless the blocks are complete.
The hands-on block
The box above the text is the inspection block. It says who handled what, where and on which day, whether a purchase receipt is on file, and how many photographs were taken. The person named there must be the author of the piece: a guide is written by the person who handled the bag, and nobody else can sign it. The receipt’s number stays in the data; the page only says that one exists.
The body
The body is plain markdown: paragraphs, two or three subheadings, no lists of bags. Prices and figures that come from the index are quoted with the day they were read; anything else the writer saw with her own eyes is written as what she saw, with the date. Nothing on the page calls a listing genuine or fake, and nothing recommends buying or selling.
Sources and bags
Sources are the pages or documents the piece rests on, with the day they were published where known. The bags the piece concerns appear as cards below, with their current figures from the index; the first of them lends the page its photograph, a listing photograph as on the bag’s own page.
The author’s card
The card at the end names the author with her role and bio, and links to her page, which lists everything she wrote and everything she approved.
